Gage Crockett is responsible for TBM client accounts on a personal and technical level fostering brand loyalty through customer-centric service. Having been around aviation and the TBM family his entire life, Gage experienced his first flight before he could even see over the glare shield. At 16, he completed his first solo and hasn’t looked back since!
Gage graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science. He holds a commercial single and multi-engine land, instrument-rated pilot certificate as well as a flight instructor certificate. Gage started his career as a pipeline patrol pilot flying low altitude missions, developed a commercial and ATP training program for the TBM, is an experienced TBM instructor in all TBM Models and holds type ratings in both the
Tarbes, France – Daher today unveiled technical details for its TBM 940 very fast turboprop aircraft in the Model Year 2020 version, which is equipped with HomeSafe™ – an emergency system that automatically brings the airplane to a runway touchdown if the pilot becomes incapacitated.
The system is activated manually by an easily recognizable orange button atop the cockpit instrument panel. Its software integrates weather and terrain information to select the best airport for landing, taking into account fuel range and runway length.
HomeSafe™ is based on Garmin’s Emergency Autoland system – available as a part of the G3000 integrated flight deck – and has been under development for the TBM since 2017 by the Avionics Engineering Office at Daher’s Aircraft Division. This work included Big Data analyses and the testing of 20 HomeSafe™ system versions.

Cabin lighting consists of dome lights, baggage compartment lights, access stair lighting, and individual reading lights at all seats. 14/24V power outlets, CD or XM satellite music or radio, and many storage cabinets have also made their way in to make your trip delightful.
